HM Modelo

The hospital is at forefront of private healthcare in Galicia in terms of diagnosic imaging, Cardiology and Cardiac surgery and robotic surgery program for adults. Within its oncology department it is liaised with HM CIOCC in Madrid.

With 70 years of history, it is a reference in Galician private health. It is characterized by a comprehensive medical offer, a first-rate medical team, its permanent technological updating and careful patient care, to which it offers all medical and surgical specialties, except pediatrics and gynecology.

HM Modelo Hospital is located in Ciudad Jardín, in the heart of the city of La Coruña. The center has seven operating rooms and 79 rooms, all of them individual, exterior and equipped with everything necessary to make the patient’s stay as comfortable as possible. 

The hospital also has a 10-box UCi for adults. The common areas, corridors, waiting rooms and chapel try to create a welcoming atmosphere, with spacious and bright spaces that contribute to making an exceptional situation, such as a stay in a hospital center, more pleasant. Likewise, patients admitted to the Hospital also have free access to the Internet through a wi-fi network. Recently the hospital has incorporated the first DaVinci robot in Galicia, being pioneers in the use of this robotic surgery technique.
