HM Vallés

HM Valles is the first hospital center in Alcalá de Henares, before the Socorro house, the Principe de Asturias Hospital and the other Centers that today share health care with us.

HM Vallés is a medical-surgical hospital situated in the heart of Alcalá de Henares. It was the first clinic center in Alcalá. It opened its doors in 1963 and it was built in Francisco Vallés’ house place. Known as “El Divino Vallés”, he was the personal physician of Felipe II but also a humanist and a writer who was considered the greatest Spanish exponent of Renaissance medicine.

In 2015 HM Vallés, as well as the two polyclinics next to it, became part of the HM Hospitales Group. It has all the medical and surgical specialties of adults, in addition to 24-hour emergencies. Later, in May 2016, the three HM La Paloma polyclinics were acquired, which are located in Torrejón de Ardoz and they currently depend on hospital HM Vallés.
